Azmol is driven by a belief in the transformational power of education. This commitment has shaped a professional career dedicated to supporting often-marginalised learners and busy Further Education lecturers to achieve their full potential. Over more than a decade at UCG, Azmol has undertaken a wide range of roles, including Learning Support Assistant, Hourly-Paid Lecturer, Lecturer and, most recently, Teaching, Learning and Assessment Development Coach. This breadth of experience has provided deep insight into the challenges and opportunities facing both learners and staff across Further Education.

Azmol has been nominated for Pearson National Teaching Awards and has received multiple College awards recognising contributions to Teaching, Learning and Assessment, alongside excellence in Digital Pedagogy.

More recently, Azmol was awarded an ETF scholarship to undertake a PhD in Education. His doctoral research explored the lived experiences of GCSE English re-sit learners and the lecturers who teach them, reflecting a longstanding interest in improving educational experiences through evidence-informed practice.

Passionate about translating pedagogic research into meaningful classroom practice, Azmol is committed to supporting high-quality teaching and learning across the organisation. He is a member of the Teaching, Learning and Skills Committee.
