Enrichment
Alongside your studies, life at college should build your confidence, help you discover new interests and make the most of every opportunity.
Our Enrichment Programme is designed to help you develop personally, socially and professionally while you study. Whether you want to stay active, meet new people, build your CV or simply try something new, there’s something for everyone.
Activities & Clubs
Our Student Enrichment Team organises a wide range of activities throughout the week, including:
- Football
- Basketball
- Table tennis
- Karate
- Boxing
- Dance
- Music appreciation
- Gaming
You can take part for fun, fitness or skill development, and if you’re interested in competitive sport, we also compete in AOC leagues for basketball, football and table tennis.
Alongside sport, we support a variety of clubs and societies. Working closely with our Student Council and Student Ambassadors, we help students organise events, trips and social activities that make college life vibrant and inclusive.
Support Beyond the Classroom
The Enrichment Team works in partnership with a range of external organisations to ensure students have access to specialist advice, opportunities and support beyond the classroom.
Our partners help provide activities, mentoring and programmes that support students’ personal development, wellbeing and future aspirations.
Our partnerships include:
- Willesden Sports Centre – access to gym and swimming facilities
- Paddington Recreation Ground – sports and outdoor activities
- West London Citizens – community engagement and leadership opportunities
- Duke of Edinburgh’s Award – personal development and adventure programmes
- Jack Petchey Foundation – celebrating student achievement and youth leadership
- Integrated Gangs Unit – support, guidance and community safety initiatives
- Track Academy – mentoring and athletics development
- Westminster Stop and Search – awareness and community dialogue programmes
Get Involved
Getting involved in college life is one of the best ways to meet new people, gain valuable experience and strengthen your CV or UCAS application.
Student Union
All students can become members of the College’s Student Council, which is affiliated with the National Union of Students (NUS). Membership gives you access to advice, support and student discounts on travel, shopping and more – helping you make the most of student life.
Student Council & Student Governors
The Student Council represents the student voice across the College. From this group, Student Governors are elected to sit on the College’s Governing Body, ensuring students play an active role in shaping decisions and improving the overall experience.
You’ll have opportunities to:
- Share feedback and ideas
- Develop new clubs and societies
- Organise trips, events and activities
- Influence change within the College
Your voice matters, and we encourage you to use it.
Course Representatives
Each course elects a Course Representative who attends meetings with College managers to share feedback, suggest improvements and represent their classmates’ views. It’s a great way to build leadership and communication skills.
Student Marketing Ambassadors
Our Student Ambassador Programme offers volunteering opportunities at events such as Freshers’ Fairs, Higher Education Fairs, Open Days and Awards Ceremonies.
As an Ambassador, you’ll develop practical skills, gain valuable work experience and enhance your CV or UCAS application – all while playing a key role in College life.
Make the most of your time here. Get involved, try something new and shape your college experience.
