organisations to monitor on an ongoing basis the coronavirus outbreak in the UK, 
and how to manage any particular risks to the delivery, taking and administering of exams and assessments.

ESOL, LLDD, Function Skills

Teachers will “calculate” grades.

FS: Writing: No paper-based exams without an invigilator.

Exams/Assessments not possible at home. 

C&G to confirm how teachers will “calculate” grades.

FS: Speaking & Listening; Communication/Communicating:  to be taken remotely.

ESOL: No specific information as yet 

Apprenticeships

Furloughed apprentices:

1. Can continue to study if the programme they are registered on enables this, i.e. the apprentice has access to content or theory modules that do not require work based learning.
2. Study can support 20% off the job requirements with evidence.

End-Point Assessments can take place. Refer to FAQ link: 

FS: E-volve on screen examinations can be administered and invigilated by employers.
