A-Levels, Extended Project Qualifications & GCSEs

No exams this summer. Teachers will “calculate” grades for students due to sit A level, AS level or GCSE exams taking into account a range of evidence including, for example, non-exam assessment and mock results. This approach will be standardised between schools and colleges.

Vocational

Ofqual are working closely with awarding organisations to finalise the lists of qualifications in scope for each category.

Teachers will “calculate” exam grades – full info. yet to be finalised. Ofqual are working with awarding organisations to finalise a list of qualifications that will advise the Secretary of State should be in scope for learners to receive a calculated result. It will include many BTEC Nationals and UAL Diplomas. Ofqual are working closely with awarding organisations to finalise the lists of qualifications in scope for each category.

ESOL/LLDD/FS

Teachers will “calculate” grades for Functional Skills exams.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships will continue. Ofqual guidance available.
