The Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Physical Activity - Sport and Exercise Science Pathway is a full-time course for learners aged 16-18 who want to build a career in sport science, fitness, coaching or health-related professions. This two-year programme is equivalent to three A Levels and provides a strong foundation for progression into university, apprenticeships or employment within the sport and exercise science sector.
You will study a wide range of units that combine scientific theory with practical application in sport and physical activity.
You will learn through a combination of classroom-based theory, practical sessions, coaching activities and independent research.
You may also have the opportunity to contribute to projects such as a Sport and Physical Activity Educational Journal, helping you develop research and communication skills.
