Plastering Level 2 Diploma
The Level 2 Diploma in Plastering is designed for adult learners who want to build on their existing skills and progress towards a career in the construction industry. This course develops your practical ability and technical knowledge, preparing you for modern plastering work and increasing your employability within the construction sector.
Awarding Body:
You will learn through a combination of hands-on workshop training and theoretical classroom learning, delivered by experienced industry professionals in fully equipped facilities.
- Cornices and decorative mouldings
- External plastering finishes (e.g. pebble dashing)
- Working with various external angle beads
- Setting out and working with levels
- Supervised practical projects
You will also develop essential employability skills such as communication, teamwork and problem-solving to support your progression into work.
After successfully completing this course, you can progress to:
- Advanced plastering training or specialist construction courses
- Construction apprenticeships
- Employment in plastering or general construction roles
Assessment is carried out through practical tasks and coursework, allowing you to demonstrate your ability to complete plastering work to industry standards.
- 2–4 GCSEs (grades 2, 3 or 4) OR Level 1 qualification (flexibility may apply)
- Ideally English or maths at grade 3–4, or willingness to study alongside
- An interview may be required; we’ll be in touch after you apply to invite you to an interview if needed
- Alternative entry via relevant experience may be acceptable
