The course is for teachers who are currently delivering at least 50 hours per annum in a Further Education (FE) college, Adult and Community Learning Centre or Learning Provider (this can be on a paid or voluntary basis).
The course covers the following mandatory units:
Students who come on the course must have at least a Level 3 qualification in a subject specialism they teach in. A degree, or Level 3/4 professional qualification is also a requirement. Candidates are also required to demonstrate a level of English commensurate with the programme (see below).
