This course provides education in health and social care that forms a basis for progression to undergraduate studies and a range of careers in the health and social care sector. The course comprises core and optional units including:
Students will also take exams in English functional skills as well as developing independent learning skills. Care is taken to balance and integrate theory and practice to ensure that the qualification supports both career prospects and educational progression.
A minimum of 4 GCSEs (Grades A*- C), including English Language or a First Diploma at Merit Level. You will also need to complete a college initial assessment, successful interview and satisfactory Criminal Records Bureau check.
