Level 2 Certificate For IT Users
The Level 2 Certificate for IT Users (ITQ) is a practical course for adults (19+) who want to build confidence and develop essential digital skills for work and everyday life. Delivered at our Willesden Campus, this course is ideal if you are looking to return to work, change careers, or improve your ability to use computers in a professional environment. You will learn at a pace that suits your ability in a supportive and inclusive setting.
Awarding Body:
This course focuses on developing practical IT and office-based skills through hands-on learning. Topics include:
- Improving productivity using IT
- Creating, saving and managing documents
- File management and organisation
- Professional document formatting
- Using images within documents
- Designing basic web pages
- Using databases (Microsoft Access)
- Creating presentations using PowerPoint
- Building and formatting spreadsheets
You will also develop personal, social and employability skills to help you succeed in the workplace.
After completing this course, you can progress to:
- Level 3 Diploma for IT Users
- Further study in IT, business or digital skills
- Entry-level roles in administration or office-based environments
You will be assessed through practical tasks and coursework, allowing you to demonstrate your skills in real-life scenarios and build a portfolio of work.
- 2–4 GCSEs (grades 2, 3 or 4) OR Level 1 qualification (flexibility may apply)
- Ideally English or maths at grade 3–4, or willingness to study alongside
- An interview may be required; we’ll be in touch after you apply to invite you to an interview if needed
- Alternative entry via relevant experience may be acceptable
