The Knowledge Element: The Principles of Customer Service Certificate
To achieve this qualification you need to take 3 mandatory units which provide 13 credits:
The Competency Element: NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service
This is a flexible qualification offering a range of optional units in addition to 2 mandatory units. You can choose to focus on those areas that will match the specific needs of your workplace. You need to achieve 28 credits, 8 of which come from the mandatory units which are:
There is a choice of optional units to provide a broad range of skills based on four themes
Functional Skills
If employees did not achieve GCSE grade C or above in English, Maths in the last 5 years they will need to attend functional skills sessions to improve their qualifications.
The final two elements are the development of Personal learning and Thinking Skills which is embedded in the knowledge and competency elements of training and Employment Rights and Responsibilities where legal knowledge is checked through completion of a workbook.
