The Diploma in Management is aimed at managers who want to develop their management skills, gaining the knowledge, skills and understanding in a more flexible and practical way. They must have a defined level of authority for managing resources, taking decisions and responsibility for achieving specific results by using resources effectively, allocating work to team members, colleagues or contractors.
The Diploma in Management is aimed at managers who want to develop their management skills, gaining the knowledge, skills and understanding in a more flexible and practical way. Participants do 5 mandatory units plus a choice of optional units. The wide choice of optional units gives a high level of flexibility, allowing the qualification to be tailored to meet the varying needs of participants and employers across all employment sectors.

The NVQ Centre is flexible in its approach to delivering training programmes. The sessions can be delivered in your company in workshop format or through distance learning.
Progression to a higher qualification is encouraged
The qualification is holistically assessed which means that the optional units chosen by the candidate will be assessed alongside the mandatory units. This means that when planning and carrying out assessments the assessor will ensure the units fit with the candidates' job. Candidates are supported with regular meetings and blended learning.
