GCSE BIOLOGY EVENING
In Biology GCSE you will study the structure, functions, diversity and interactions of living organisms, and the impact of humans on the environment, also some aspects of genetics and biotechnology. You will investigate How science Works, and be able to apply your knowledge to understanding biological issues in the news such as stem cell research and MRSA.
You will study the AQA GCSE Biology 4401 syllabus
For 16-18 year olds you need at least 5 grade Ds (in relevant subjects) and a good school record. Applicants who have not taken GCSEs must pass subject based College diagnostic tests.
GCSE biology course can be studied as a single subject GCSE and is aimed at mature students. It is an Evening course. Applicants are expected to have achieved at least at Level 1 in English and Numeracy. Students who have no formal qualifications in English will be required to pass the College diagnostic language test.
