The UAL Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology at City of Westminster College is a one-year course for students aged 16–18 who want to develop practical skills in media production and prepare for a career in the creative industries. Based at our Paddington Green Campus, this course introduces you to the key techniques, tools and knowledge used across the media and communications industry, including video, audio, photography and digital content creation.
You will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of media production areas, developing both creative, technical and communication skills.

You will learn in purpose-built digital media facilities and be taught by experienced lecturers, gaining insight into industry-standard practices and workflows.
Additional support is provided through tutorials and Functional Skills development, helping you improve communication and academic skills.
After successfully completing this course, you can progress to Level 3 qualifications in creative media and related subjects.

Assessment is continuous and based on a combination of practical and theoretical work.
You will also be expected to complete 6–8 hours of independent study each week.
