The Craft Carpentry and Joinery Level 3 Apprenticeship at the College of North West London is designed for learners who want to progress their career in carpentry, joinery and construction. This advanced course builds on existing carpentry and joinery skills, preparing you to create, install, refurbish and repair complex building components in both new-build and refurbishment projects. You will develop the technical ability, precision and confidence needed to work on high-quality domestic, commercial, heritage and bespoke projects. You can choose one of two specialist pathways: Craft Site Carpenter or Craft Architectural Joiner. Both routes help you develop advanced practical skills and prepare you for progression into senior trade roles, supervision or management.

Assessment for this Level 3 apprenticeship includes an End-Point Assessment (EPA).
You will also need to achieve the required fire door qualification, such as the BWF approved SiteRight Fire Door Installation Awareness qualification or Level 3 Award in Fire Door Safety, alongside English and maths qualifications where applicable.
The EPA is graded as fail, pass, merit or distinction.
