The Carpentry and Joinery Level 2 Apprenticeship at the College of North West London is designed for learners who want to start a career in construction, specialising in working with timber and wood-based materials. This course prepares you to create and install building components used in homes, commercial buildings and infrastructure projects. You will develop practical skills to work safely and accurately, contributing to both new build and refurbishment projects. You can choose to specialise as either a Site Carpenter, working on construction sites, or an Architectural Joiner, working in a workshop environment producing timber components.

Assessment for this Level 2 apprenticeship includes an End-Point Assessment (EPA).
The EPA is graded as fail, pass, merit or distinction. You will also need to achieve English and maths qualifications in line with apprenticeship requirements where applicable.
