Business Level 1 Introductory Diploma
Level 1 BTEC Introductory Diploma in Business is a full-time course for learners aged 16–18, designed as a pre-GCSE level introduction to business. This course provides a strong foundation in business knowledge, practical skills and employability, helping you prepare for further study or entry-level roles in the business sector.
Awarding Body:
The course is made up of a range of units that develop your understanding of business and workplace skills.
You will learn through a combination of classroom-based theory and practical activities such as organising events and developing business ideas.

After successfully completing this course, you can progress to:
- Level 2 Diploma in Business
- Other Level 2 vocational courses

Assessment is coursework-based and completed during your timetabled sessions:
- Practical assignments based on real business scenarios
- Project work and presentations
- Internally assessed and externally moderated by Edexcel
You will receive an overall Pass grade upon successful completion.
