BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Building Services Engineering (Electrical) (PT 2nd year)
Course units include Health, Safety & Welfare, Sustainable Construction, Mathematics, Science & Materials, Building Services Science and a number of electrical engineering subjects related to the built environment.
The course provides a nationally recognised qualification for those employed in the Building Services industry and associated areas and can lead onto BTEC Higher National Certificate or Higher Education. Students on the course are encouraged to gain membership to the CIBSE or other relevant professional institutions.
The programme at City of Westminster College is designed for people already employed in the building services industry and associated areas. Candidates must have Mathematics and English Language skills at level 2 (e.g. GCSE grades C or above). Candidates without formal qualifications can take our initial assessments in mathematics and English to provide evidence of their functional skills capabilities.
All candidates are interviewed by the programme manager and should bring a reference from their employer and previous qualification certificates.
