This is a full time course which is designed to develop the knowledge and skills needed by people who want to work in the people management, public safety, security, enforcement and all uniformed public service industries.
Students will also develop a broad range of general skills including communicating with others, working in a team, problem solving and presentation skills.

You will be expected to have a standard of literacy and numeracy supported by a general education equivalent to 4 GCSEs at grades D-G. Ideally English and Maths will be at grade D or a functional skill at level 1 or above. You must also have a willingness to learn and apply yourself to the course and the personal qualities to be able to work with people. You will need to provide a suitable reference from a teacher or employer. You may need to complete a CRB check in relation to work experience.
