Applicants must be over 18 years of age and must display an interest in working in a Care environment at interview. You do not need any formal qualifications but must be able to make yourself understood when speaking English and have basic literacy and numeracy skills. All applicants will be asked to complete the College's Initial Assessment.
As students will need to complete a 60 hour work placement, a CRB form must be completed when the course commences. We therefore cannot accept applicants with a criminal record which may prevent them from working in a health or social care setting.
