The A2 includes: developing your AS knowledge through two units: ‘Language and the Media’, where you will be required to submit a coursework folder of 3,000 words and an examined unit which focuses on the study of texts in three modes: spoken, written, and multimodal. You will explore written and spoken language use in a variety of different social and cultural contexts.
You will need a minimum of grade B in GCSE English Language and you must also meet the general entry requirements of 6 GCSEs A*-C for a 3 AS Level program or 7 GCSEs A*-C for a 4 AS Level program; all obtained in one sitting.
