Business studies is about investigating how a business works and how to manage the resources involved. In AS we look at an introduction to the challenges and issues of starting a business including financial planning. The AS specification has two units: Planning and Financing a Business and Managing a Business.
In A2 we will build on your knowledge from AS-level by considering strategies for larger businesses and how managers might measure the performance of the business. The A2 specification has two units: Strategies for Success and The Business Environment and Change.
Apart from the general entry criteria for A-levels, you must have You will need at least a grade C or above in Maths plus a B in one of the following subjects: English Language, English Literature, Geography, History, Politics, Psychology, Religious Education (Full) or Sociology.
